some moths

whenever I am anywhere I feel like a tourist
someone somewhere someplace for the first time
taking in my surroundings
looking at people intently
taking pictures
I must keep this place in my memory
because I will never be back here
I think
at a coffee shop I visit every day.

our connection is real and unreal
we have met to speak or sit
on an unreal plane of existence
so we can't sleep
this won't be here tomorrow
